Yoda and Zorro
You know what I love? People who love their animals. And by love, I mean LOVE their animals.
A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to photograph two little Japanese Chin puppies and their people. Let me just say...these pups were LOVED (and still are).
I'm not big into props for my outdoor sessions, but just before the shoot I ordered a fake fire hydrant for Clooney from Amazon. I know, it's silly, but I'm desperately trying to save the beautiful grass in my back yard that dies a sad and ugly death each time he pees on it. And, I'll admit, sometimes it's just easier to let him out back to pee than walk him around the block in my pajamas. I figured that I could train him to pee on the fire hydrant instead. BUT...when I opened the box, I was presented something WAY cuter than a pee post for Clooney.
So, given these little pups thought they were big boys, we started off the shoot with some quick fire hydrant shots....
But the biggest boy was laughing too hard to pose seriously...
It was a brisk morning, so what do you do when your little dogs get cold? Stuff them in your coats, of course!
Then take them for a run...these guys loved to run!
And look tough...
But, really, they just loved being loved...
And what's not to love about this level of cuteness?
Have I mentioned, I have THE best job ever?
